In DLB, acetylcholinesterase inhibitors may improve global cognitive function, cognitive fluctuations, hallucinations and activities of daily living (Taylor et al., 2020), although only half of patients benefit from this type of treatment (McKeith et al., 2000; Mori et al., 2012; Stinton et al., 2015).
