KCTD5 and breast carcinoma: In patients with breast cancer, there were significant differences in DFS (P = 0.021, HR = 5.98), DSS (P = 0.001, HR = 2.99), DMFS (P = 0.018, HR = 2.39) and RFS (P = 0.006, HR = 3.18) between the high-expression KCTD5 group and the low-expression KCTD5 group, suggesting that the high expression of KCTD5 is associated with poor prognosis in breast cancer (Fig. 4C).
