Haplotype association analysis of IL1B htSNPs with lung cancer risk showed that haplotype4 (rs1143633A-rs3136558C-rs1143630A) was associated with increased risk of lung cancer after adjustment for smoking duration [adjusted-OR (95% CI) = 1.55 (1.07–2.24), P = 0.021] and that haplotype2 was marginally associated with increased risk of lung cancer (Table 6). This evidence concerns the gene IL1B and lung cancer.
