By targeting several miRNAs, SNHG3 stimulates tumour development: it has been reported that, in prostate cancer cells metastasizing to the bone, SNHG3 might serve as a miR-214-3p sponge to increase TGFBR1 expression and, by activating TGF-β signaling pathway, stimulates tumour growth and bone metastasis development. This evidence concerns the gene SNHG3 and neoplasm.
