Xiao et al. [46] showed that ERK1/2 phosphorylates the FCH/F-BAR and SH3 domain-containing protein (FCHSD2), leading to enhanced clathrin-coated pit (CCP) initiation and CME, resulting in decreased cell-surface EGFR expression and reduced proliferation and migration of nonsmall cell lung cancer cells. This evidence concerns the gene FCHSD2 and lung cancer.
