Most studies have found that LRPPRC is closely associated with neurodegenerative diseases, neurofibromatosis, venous thromboembolism, non-alcoholic fatty liver, and viral infections (Hosp et al., 2015; Cui et al., 2019) and that its dysregulation may initiate carcinogenesis and inhibit cancer cell apoptosis (Gu et al., 2021a). Here, LRPPRC is linked to neurodegenerative disease.
