In the present experiment, C. perfringens infection caused an increase in TLR2 mRNA expression in mouse ileal tissue, which further affected the increased gene expression of downstream junction proteins MyD88, IRAK1, TRAF6, and P65, increased pro-inflammatory factor, upregulated MAPK3 and JNK mRNA expression, and participated in the regulation of inflammatory response. This evidence concerns the gene MYD88 and infection due to clostridium perfringens.
