ADK and neoplasm: AKs have been implicated in several types of cancer27–30 and previously reported as a potential target for H3K27M DMG tumors.31 As a key regulator of mitosis, aberrant AK expression has been affiliated with tumor suppression and oncogenesis.32–34 We were able to substantiate the importance of AKs in H3K27M DMG using patient data available from public data bases, patient samples, and with an inducible shRNA knockdown in vitro model.
