On one hand, due to the modulation of the chemokine system by various drugs in the treatment of MS, such as interferon-beta and methylprednisolone (Dhaiban et al., 2020), we speculate that the aberrant levels of CCL5 and CXCL8 in the dataset may be associated with MS patients being treated with related therapeutic strategies during their lifetime.
