While positive anti-TPO Abs did not significantly impact or predict GD outcomes such as disease duration, TED, bone mineral density, ATD treatment duration, the development of hypothyroidism during therapy, or the rate of relapse or remission in GD, as seen in Table 4, we further proceeded with our data analysis using the ORC statistics to search for cut-off values of anti-TPO Abs titers (IU/mL) that may depict some level of association with GD outcomes (Table 5). This evidence concerns the gene TPO and hypothyroidism.
