Alternative splicing has been implicated in the susceptibility of Alzheimer's disease (AD) (Raj et al., 2018) and many genes associated with AD undergo alternative splicing (Rockenstein et al., 1995; Zhou et al., 2014; Koch, 2018), CLU being one of them (Szymanski et al., 2011; Foster et al., 2019; Herring et al., 2019; Han et al., 2020). This evidence concerns the gene CLU and Alzheimer disease.
