SRC and cancer: Conversely, therapeutic inhibition of SRC reduces the growth of various solid tumors and hematological malignancies by enhancing the activation, proliferation, and recruitment of cytotoxic CD8 T cells and NK cells, suppressing the recruitment of myeloid-derived suppressor cells and Tregs, and by inhibiting the tumorigenic phenotype of cancer-associated fibroblasts [147, 148, 150, 151].
