Using this approach, we identified HER2, MYC, and PTK6 amplification, high copy number aberration (CNA) burden, solid growth pattern, grade 3, high Ki67 level, and distinct 3D growth pattern as risk factors, whereas a luminal A subtype or columnar growth correlate with low-risk DCIS. The gene discussed is ERBB2; the disease is ductal breast carcinoma in situ.
