CHGA and periodontitis: The salivary chromogranin A level was significantly higher in the gingivitis group (204.71 ± 34.20 ng/mL) than in the healthy control group (127.17 ± 46.68 ng/mL), and significantly higher in the periodontitis group (245.90 ± 69.31 ng/mL) than in the gingivitis group (p < 0.001).
