For each elevation of one IL-1β unit, that is, for each picogram per milliliter increase in IL-1β, the odds ratio for a thrombotic event increased by 0.6% for a patient with clinical characteristics of COVID-19 (CI = 0.999 to 1.012); this percentage increased to 1% when evaluating IL-2 (CI = 0.998 to 1023.00) and IL-10 (CI = 1.001 to 1.012). This evidence concerns the gene IL10 and COVID-19.
