More specifically, RBC (Figure 2b), HGB (Figure 2c), and HCT (Figure 2d) showed a significant reduction with iron overload (p < 0.01), but the concentration of MCV (Figure 2e) and MCH (Figure 2f) increased in iron overload mice (p < 0.001), which means anemia occurred in the iron overload groups.
