Obesity is considered a state of low-grade chronic systemic inflammation especially adipose tissue inflammation [3], and is associated with the infiltration of inflammatory monocytes such as macrophages, in the expanding white adipose tissue, and secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α), interleukin-1 β (IL-1β), interleukin-6 (IL-6), monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1), and among others [4]. This evidence concerns the gene CCL2 and obesity disorder.
