This result is quite similar to many other studies where the organotin(IV) compound induced cell death via apoptosis [39] where it shows that an organotin indomethacin derivative significantly inhibited cell proliferation and activated apoptosis by regulating the MAPK, activating caspase 3, and the cytokine immune mediator, IL-6, in breast and prostate cancer cells.
