Preliminary results show that a combination of these agents with PD-1/PD-L1 inhibition in NSCLC leads to higher response rates compared with PD-1/PD-L1 inhibition alone, possibly due to the synergistic mechanisms of action, including the increased activation of NK cells and CD8+ TILs [30,31,32].
