According to a comprehensive analysis of antibodies and subpopulations of B-lymphocytes [89], patients with sarcoidosis showed an increase in anti-MCV (anti—mutated citrullinated vimentin) of more than 14 U/mL, an increase in “naive” B-cells, and a decrease in memory B-cells, and an increase in CD24 +++ CD38 ++ + B- cells. The gene discussed is CD38; the disease is sarcoidosis.
