Other non-specific biomarkers of COVID-19, such as the presence of neutrophilia, thrombocytopenia, hypoalbuminemia, elevation of liver enzymes and creatinine, as well as inflammatory markers, such as C-reactive protein (CRP) and interleukin 6 (IL-6), were also associated with a worse prognosis [20,21,22,23,24,25,26].
