miR-155 was found at the binding site of the four target genes involved in the upregulation of blood glucose and sensory impairment, namely CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein beta (C/EBPβ), Histone Deacetylase 4 (HDAC4), the suppressor of cytokine signaling 1 (SOCS1), and pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase 4 (PDK4) [26]. This evidence concerns the gene PDK4 and Somatic sensory dysfunction.
