The study showed no difference in the level of plasmatic endothelial and coagulopathy biomarkers between the two groups (intercellular adhesion molecule [ICAM], vascular cell adhesion molecule [VCAM], TF, TFPI, vWF, tissue plasminogen activator [tPA], plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 [PAI-1], thrombin–antithrombin complex [TAT], international normalized ratio [INR], antithrombin, D-Dimers, and Fibrinogen) except for VCAM which was more elevated in the DXM group. This evidence concerns the gene TAT and blood coagulation disease.
