CSF1R and Parkinson disease: In PBMCs, higher expression levels of APAF1 (PD: 0.34 ± 0.18, control: 0.26 ± 0.11, p < 0.001) and CSF1R (PD: 0.38 ± 0.12, control: 0.33 ± 0.10, p = 0.005) were demonstrated in PD patients compared with controls (Table 2).
