The KEGG pathways with significant differences between group M and group GC (Figure 4D) included bile secretion, the HIF-1 signaling pathway, the glucagon signaling pathway, taste transduction, ABC transporters, central carbon metabolism in cancer, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), galactose metabolism, the insulin signaling pathway, and the FoxO signaling pathway. This evidence concerns the gene ABCG2 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
