Two of the evaluation score factors were significantly more often found in patients prescribed antibiotics: signs of pneumonia in chest X-ray/CT (OR 3.66 (95% CI 2.40–5.58, p < 0.001) and CRP level >60 mg/L (OR 4.69 (95% CI 3.12–7.04, p < 0.001). Here, CRP is linked to pneumonia.
