In the group with cobalamin deficiency, 24/29 (83%) dogs had immune-suppressant responsive enteropathy (IRE), of which four dogs also had protein-losing enteropathy (PLE) with a serum albumin concentration below 20 g/L at baseline, 2/29 (7%) dogs had food-responsive enteropathy (FRE), 2/29 (7%) dogs had non-responsive enteropathy, of which one had PLE, and 1/29 dogs (3%) had antibiotic-responsive enteropathy (ARE). This evidence concerns the gene ALB and Abnormal intestine morphology.
