Moving to the protein expression levels, eight tumors, namely breast cancer, clear cell RCC, colon cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, HNSC, PAAD, UCEC (p < 0.001), and LUAD (p < 0.05), experienced a significantly higher ECT2 protein expression in tumor samples versus normal ones (Figure 1C), while only two tumors—ovarian cancer and glioblastoma multiforme—showed a nonsignificant difference (Supplementary Figure S2). The gene discussed is ECT2; the disease is breast carcinoma.
