We highlight that the coding circRNAs with a differential expression in cancer were associated with (i) biological processes such as regulation of signaling and protein phosphorylation, (ii) molecular functions such as DNA binding and protein serine kinase activities, (iii) cellular components such as nuclear specks, and (iv) Reactome Pathways such as “constitutive signaling by AKT1 E17K in cancer” and “heme signaling”. The gene discussed is AKT1; the disease is cancer.
