Herein, analysis of data from the GEO database revealed that in the blood samples from patients with acute ischemic stroke, CTDSP1 showed abnormally high expression, in contrast to the low expression of miR-124-3p, suggesting that both miR-124-3p and CTDSP1 may be altered during cerebral ischemia, and that a negative regulatory relationship between them may exist. This evidence concerns the gene CTDSP1 and Cerebral ischemia.
