Based on the systematic analysis of 18 pieces of literature that met the criteria of this study, the results showed that the use of probiotics in the adjuvant treatment of patients with NAFLD can improve the levels of fasting blood glucose and insulin, along with insulin resistance and liver function (i.e. it can reduce the levels of ALT, AST and GGT). The gene discussed is GPT; the disease is metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
