Taken together, the current results demonstrate that TENS significantly modulates oxidative stress, neuroinflammation, pyroptosis, and neuronal autophagy following ischemic stroke, possibly via regulating TXNIP, BRCC3/NLRP3, and HIF-1α/BNIP3 signaling pathway, thus reducing the brain damage caused by cerebral ischemia. The gene discussed is NLRP3; the disease is ischemic stroke.
