In contrast, levels of IgA to vaccine strains, as well as magnitude and breadth, were significantly higher in the individuals with obesity postvaccination, due to stronger vaccine-induced IgA responses in individuals with obesity, as reflected by the significantly higher fold change in IgA to whole influenza viruses (Fig. 1G and H; Fig. S1G and H and S2G and H).
