EWSR1 and histiocytoma, Angiomatoid fibrous: They have been identified in a variety of tumors of different phenotypes and locations, including clear cell sarcomas of soft tissue, malignant gastrointestinal neuroectodermal tumor (former term: clear cell sarcoma-like tumors of the gastrointestinal tract), angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma (AFH), clear cell carcinoma of the salivary gland, clear cell odontogenic carcinoma, a rare subset of myoepithelial tumors, primary pulmonary myxoid sarcoma (in which EWSR1::CREB1 is a signature fusion), and primary intracranial myxoid sarcomas [3, 4].
