The Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway is a major pathway in the development of CRC and is activated by the somatic mutations of signaling molecules, such as APC (adenomatous polyposis coli), FBXW7 (F-box and WD repeat domain containing 7), and CTNNB1 (catenin beta1) proteins [36, 37]. Here, CTNNB1 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
