Considering the presence of proliferative glomerulonephritis with IgA deposits, our differential diagnoses included IgA nephropathy, IgA-dominant postinfectious glomerulonephritis, IgA-dominant membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis (MPGN), and IgA-proliferative glomerulonephritis with monoclonal immunoglobulin deposits (PGNMID). This evidence concerns the gene CD79A and IgA glomerulonephritis.
