Glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4), which localizes to the cytoplasm, is known as a predominant ferroptosis resistance factor.[35] During the viral infection, GPX4 was depleted (p < 0.01); however, treatment with Dc(mFeS) or Liproxastatin‐1 post‐infection significantly suppressed GPX4 depletion (p < 0.01, Figure 4G; Figure S31G, Supporting Information). This evidence concerns the gene GPX4 and infection.
