Unlike the earlier findings from Yan et al. [45] that Samsn1 high expression is related to the poor prognosis in glioblastoma, our results find that it inhibits the hippocampal NSC proliferation, which is in good agreement with its role, as a tumor suppressor, in gastric cancer, lung cancer, and liver cancer [46–48]. This evidence concerns the gene SAMSN1 and glioblastoma.
