We treated RA-ILD rats with RSV (10 mg/kg/day) orally for 4 weeks, and found that RSV inhibited the JAK/STAT signaling pathway (i.e. the expression of JAK and STAT were significantly reduced in lung tissue) and decreased the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1β. The gene discussed is SOAT1; the disease is rheumatoid arthritis.
