IGHA1 and atherosclerosis: Through analysis of biological processes and signaling pathways involved in cell-specific differential expressed genes, we found several potential atherosclerosis biomarkers, including SERPINF1, SRGN, HLA-DPA1, HLA-DRB5, IGKC, IGLC2, IGHG3, and IGHA1. Previous reports on SERPINF1 had focused on endothelial cells (Ma et al., 2018; Wang et al., 2019b) and smooth muscle cells (Ma et al., 2018), but our results indicated that SERPINF1 was more abundantly expressed in fibroblasts.
