Interestingly, the dysregulation of FOXP1 has been reported to be associated with cardiovascular diseases, including cardiac hypertrophy, coronary heart disease, heart failure and dilated cardiomyopathy (Bai and Kerppola, 2011; Yang et al., 2015; Liu et al., 2019, 2022; Zhuang et al., 2019). This evidence concerns the gene FOXP1 and cardiovascular disorder.
