To this end, we conducted gene enrichment analysis, and observed stronger enrichments of upregulated genes involved in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (ADRA1A, TNNI3, MYL2) and cardiac muscle contraction (CACNA1C, CASQ2, CAMK2B) (Park et al., 2018; Ng et al., 2020) (Fig. 4B; Table S2). Here, CASQ2 is linked to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
