GAPDH and breast cancer: Here we found that autoreactivity of the 3′-UTR of GAPDH (Figure 2A) is highly associated with the diagnosis of invasive BC (Table 1) and we speculate that, similarly to the findings in ovarian cancer (Liu et al., 2020), changes in the 3′-UTR responsible for autoreactivity may disturb the binding of a miRNA to the 3′-UTR of the GAPDH mRNA.
