In general, existing evidence indicates that YY1 acts as a double-edged sword that alters the TME by promoting or inhibiting angiogenesis in different tumor types (Figure 1), where some of the position of YY1 regulating target genes related to angiogenesis occur in cancer cells, which indirectly affected the formation of blood vessels by regulating the expression of angiogenesis related factors. This evidence concerns the gene YY1 and neoplasm.
