TNF and rheumatoid arthritis: Although the tuberculosis (TB) infection rate was found to be less common in patients treated with ACTEMRA® when compared with patients treated with tumor necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitors (Gomez-Reino et al., 2003; Vollenhoven et al., 2009) for ACTEMRA® targeted in IL 6, which showed less effects in anti-tuberculosis infection than that in TNF-α, IL-2, and INF-γ (Sutherland et al., 2009), patients with RA still need to be aware of the risk of TB infection when using LZM008.
