For DM patients, compared with the low hs-CRP group, the high hs-CRP group was strongly related to increases in MACCE (HR: 1.51; 95% CI 1.09–2.10, p = 0.013) after adjusting for age, sex, smoking, SBP, HDL-C, LDL-C, ACS and revascularization in-hospital according to the multivariable Model 3 (Table 3) (Fig. 4). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and diabetes mellitus.
