IL6 was found to be significantly higher in the bacteremia group at T0 (p = 0.022) as well, being a moderately accurate test in predicting bacteremia (AUC = 0.748), but not at T1 (p = 0.574) (Supplementary Tables S5–S8, Supplementary Figs. S2–S3). Here, IL6 is linked to bacterial infectious disease with sepsis.
