The group of genes with the GO term “cardiac muscle contraction” (n = 46) was further explored together with those for the categories of “dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM)−related genes”51 (n = 33), “genes with differential ribosome occupancy at Pro/Ala codons in the heart of Rpl3l+/+ or Rpl3l−/− mice (Pro/Ala)” (n = 44), and “genes with disome peaks in the heart of Rpl3l+/+ or Rpl3l−/− mice (disome-positive)” (n = 198). This evidence concerns the gene RPL3L and familial dilated cardiomyopathy.
