PSAT1 and liver cancer: In recent years, the omics field has been driven largely by technological advances, including RNA‐seq for transcriptomic analysis and mass spectrometry (MS), for rapidly advancing proteomic applications.[7] Through the combined analysis of proteomics and RNA profiling, we found that two enzymes of the serine synthesis pathway (SSP), phosphoglycerate dehydrogenase (Phgdh) and phosphoserine aminotransferase 1 (Psat1), are upregulated in a mouse model of advanced‐stage liver cancer.
