In Figure 10B, the correlation heatmap showed that the low-risk subtype was mainly enriched in metabolic-related functions and pathways (including taurine and hypotaurine metabolism, fatty acid metabolism, glycerophospholipid metabolism and alpha linolenic acid metabolism), while the high-risk subtype was mainly enriched in tumor-related pathways and functions (for instance, p53 signaling pathway, nucleotide excision repair, homologous recombination, DNA replication, mismatch repair, cell cycle and small cell lung cancer). This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and small cell lung carcinoma.
