The subgroup analysis by cancer type revealed that the IL-10 rs1800896 gene polymorphism significantly increased the oral SCC risk in all four models (GG/AA: OR = 19.09, 95% CI: 4.48–81.45, p = 0.000; AG/AA: OR = 1.76, 95% CI: 1.05–2.95, p = 0.045; AG + GG/AA: OR = 1.94, 95% CI: 1.21–3.13, p = 0.006; GG/AA + AG: OR = 12.70, 95% CI: 3.09–52.16, p = 0.000).
